Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Vivian Tsuei @vivi_babu

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a cosplayer originally from the LA area. I’m currently just trying to put my name out into the world and show off my skills as a cosplayer.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I usually post everything cosplay related including anything from making some cosplay costumes and props to memeing about cosplay. I also intend to post more about style and fashion.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name, vivi_babu, really just came from my real name and joining that with what my boyfriend calls me. Vivi + babu = vivi_babu.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I tend to use Snow app and Beauty Cam Plus to edit my photos. My editing routine is simply too much because I obsess over every minor detail even if no one will notice. I try not to worry too much if I miss something because honestly who cares?

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

People like Yashafluff who are so transparent, weird (in a good way), and have unhinged humor, and yet are so sexy and pretty are people I vibe with really well. The energy they put out is totally my speed.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I’m really happy that I can share content that people can enjoy and I also love being able to meet and converse with people with fellow interests.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I haven’t been on StarNgage for very long, but I’m excited to see what it can offer.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Don’t do whatever you don’t want to do. It’s easy to be sucked into whatever trends everyone else is doing, but I don’t like going them unless I actually like it.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Even if you see something already done, do it again but make it different. Make it yours.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Working with brands is great because it gives you the opportunity to share the products you enjoy with others.
