Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: UG Boyko @ugboyko

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am an artist, songwriter and producer. I specialize in Trap,Rap and Trip Hop as well as Cloud, the future sounds of the ever diverse Hip Hop Culture. I was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. I’m also half Ukrainian. I lived in more than 10 countries accross the world hence making me multi-lingual after leaving my country of birth at a very young age.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post my life, what I do, what people around me do. I post things that also inspire others and motivate them to follow their dreams in life. As you can see there’s been a lot of purple.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

UG Boyko, UG Boyko, simply my stage name, my real name is not important.. Although throughout the world of 7 billion people I gauruntee I am the only one called UG Boyko.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Afterlight. It’s the best so it’s the only one I use.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I would have to say I look up to thuggerthugger1, offsetyrn, quavohuncho, yrntakeoff, chieffkeeffsossa and Guwop!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Juice juice and to just follow your dreams despite what people gotta say even if the people are close to your heart, sometimes you gotta follow your own heart. If your heart had a mouth you wouldn’t be where you are now.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Being able to help others, make others smile or inspired or to make them feel special.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Like I said follow your heart, not your mind. Authenticity to whom? At the end of the day we can’t re invent the wheel and we are all influenced by each other at the end of the day weather it’s small or great. The only way we can maintain authenticity is to think outside the box, and only your heart can do that.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Originality is key! It’s what i look for when working with others. In Music a lot of people can sound the same or be on the same boat, but something or someone that’s different and comfortable with it is what I like and applaud. Quality? That words is self explanatory, you gotta have quality, it’s usually what sets ones self from another.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Great minds think alike, two Einsteins or Leonardo Da Vinci’s working together for one single purpose, imagine what they would be capable of.
