Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Troy Field @troy_field08

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Right now I am applying to go to the police academy and working as a full time cinematographer and photographer. I am born and raised in South Orange County California, but my family roots are in Denmark.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My interests are beach volleyball, church, photography, coffee, and traveling. I like to post pictures of everyday stuff I do, while maintaining my passion of photography.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I was born with my name but the number eight comes from who I was named after. I was named after the hall of fame quarterback Troy Aikman, his jersey number was number eight.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

The only app that I use to edit is VSCO, but a lot of my editing is done in Adobe Lightroom.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really like Ravi Vora, I hope to be up to his caliber some day.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

The have to go try Bear Coast Coffee. It is this new coffee shop in San Clemente, CA and the coffee is just incredible. The staff is so warming and it is a cool little place to work and have meetings.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

The opportunity to spread new exciting ideas and products, while growing instagram into a useful marketing tool.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I have yet to run a campaign.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I like to be inspired by others, but maintaining my own artist spin on my photos. There is a lot of creativity around the world, I just hope to inspire others to take fun pictures.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The best part is truly loving the product and getting others to see how they are missing out by not having that product.
