Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Tony Massey @TonyMasseyofficial

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a professional Touring/Recording drummer, also Session speaker and life Coach, I came from Nothing, a small town in a blank state (Maine) People strive for nothing and work a normal 9-5 job or start there own small company and strive to live life like everyone else. I started drums at the age of 3 and never stopped pursuing, knowing i always needed to feed this drive and love for music and wanting so much more in life. Now i am living in Nashville Tennessee, Working with A list producers and Musicians pursuing the top.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest consist of Music Lifestyle, Touring, Family and Outdoor adventures. I post and keep my social following up to date on where i travel, where i play for venues, who i play for, and what i am doing at the time.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram name came about from an average idea, Their are multiple Tony Massey’s out there, but no “OfficialTonyMassey” That simple.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Some apps i use to edit my photos are mostly standard apps, such as instagram photo editor, Photo editor by lidow, and vscw. Basically i try and use the photo as much as possible to be authentic, i may touch some things up such as brightness and clarity.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Some instagrammers i like, and follow and stay in touch with the most are some A list Musicians such as (garret Goodwin) Carrie underwoods drummer, Joshua Sales (Sam Hunt), A lot of different drummer and musician pages, and Jeff Randal (Love And Theft) Which is probably my top because he started from nothing moved to Nashville pushed and pushed and is now touring with Love And Theft full time, which he would be a good Role Model for any aspiring drummer moving to Nashville as which i am as well.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

One thing i would say to my fellow instagrammers to use in a music aspect would be Soundbrener first wearable click track. Great for any musician and Drummer.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part of being an influencer, is the fact of being able to show people my passion and allow people to use me as a tool to give them drive and passion and ambition. Everyone needs another soul to give them ambition and passion and to be able to give people that open ideas and originality and drive is a great feeling and also keeps me having such passion and drive,.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

My top tips to brands for running campaigns, would be one tip. Be authentic and original and connect with your audience.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

My advice for the importance of quality and original quality would be to stay true to yourself and your fellow man. It will keep everything original and authentic.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like the fact of showing my fellow instagrammers and followers whats great and what has potential, i love partnering with other brands because it gives me more drive and passion to show others what i like and what they can and should check out and commit to. I partner with brands because it gives them an outside outlet as well as myself. I love supporting others as they support me as a mutual partnership.
