1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

i’m working at a retail location in a mall nearby and i’m going to school for law and international business.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

i have devoted this account to my passion for makeup and the beauty industry as a whole

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

i wanted people in the makeup artistry community to know what i am, (a makeup artist, hence the mua) and i wanted people to know my name so they knew who they were seeing.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

i love afterlight and picstitch, they’re my go-to’s.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

nicolconcilio is one of the women who inspired me to start my journey and to create my own instagram devoted to my passion.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

hmm there are so many! but the foreo play skincare tool is incredible. i started using it a few weeks ago and the results have been incredible. my skin is much cleaner and much clearer and i just love it so much.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

i like the idea of being able to relate to people in a way that could help them discover new products and trends in a positive way.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

i reccommend staying accessible and not taking too long to release new products. consumers can become agitated if they have to wait too long without explanations or feeling like they’re valued by companies. i maintain authenticity by working hard to always be accessible and available to anyone who wants advice or is giving their opinion or what have you. i also make sure to be honest, people appreciate that more than anything. if i love a product, i say so. if i don’t, then i don’t feature it on my page or make any comment unless someone asks me at which point again i try and stay as honest as possible.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

quality will mean more to a person than quantity any day. and remaining original and unique is paramount to running good campaigns. if you begin using ideas from other people you run the risk of losing the respect and trust of your consumer base.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

i love the exposure it provides us both as well as the opportunity it gives me to connect with more people who share interests in products or brands we all love.
