Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Terrance @Houndlife_trubwp

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I go by the nickname Trub out here. Friends and Family call me that and have been since I can remember. Music Name Trabull(trouble) and ive been doing music independently for years now.15+ years. Ive always made music for myself based of how im feeling or what im going through. That is until a few friends and relatives told me that I have a talent that could get me Farther with it. I was born and raised in West Philly ive moved other places but ive always ended up back here starting from scratch.. Currntly im working out of my Studio promoting myself through instagram and facebook. Doing videos and making music posting it on soundclound hoping that someone big heres it but still i havent had a break through

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I have a Clothing line im tryna build up called Houndlife Clothing and i have a promo page for that called @official_houndlifeclothinmuzic on instagram. Im periodically posting shirts hoodies and pics of different designs i sale or promote. Also music of me or one of my partners music… But mostly on my page(@houndlife_trubwp) i post my Visuals and my work

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It changed multiple times before. Started as @UFO_TRUB Unidentified.Fly.Original and that was the name of my last full mixtape that ive done and posted it on www.Dapiff.com/trabull but then a few of my associates were talking with me one day and I thought about a brand I always wanted to start of my own and how we live. I actually was a childcare worker for visionquest academy out the mountains up pittsburgh pa, i drew up a Logo and the Youth loved it…So then i changed it to houndlife_trubwp And began promoting that

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Well it depends on How im feeling at the time. Sometimes I use Artiso other times none. But if I do edit my picture i use instagram normally

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Well not really but if I had to chose I would have to say @ThelifeofDesigner @therealStylesP @Ninobrown they are really motivational. I like how designer came from the bottom 50+ likes to 50,000 likes all in his consistency. Styles P just always been my Favorite MC since I can remember. And Nino brown is just Rwally Motivating with his words and knowledge over all on life.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I deoends on what there goal is but if I had to say anything i would recommend using more Hashtags. Alot of ginuene people go through hashtags. I actually get more likes off of Hashtags than my actual followers lol which is cool too i guess.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

You get to Give people insight on how you see things. Hopefully they respect it Agree and understand were your coming from and follow suit… I love that.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Keep Going, No matter what!! Stay focused and On Hound.. Always post something thats on topic and has something to do with your brand and what your trying to promote. Post your support. Acknowledge and give homage to the higher ups for inspiration… Be relentless in whatever it is you do and give it your all!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Originality is Priceless you know why??? Because its something you cant pay for. There will never be a better number than #1. So if your the first that did it you will always be remembered as such. The sequels of good movies are never better than the original. Good quality is expensive but thats the price you may have to pay to show you are serious in your craft or work

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

You get support and you give it. You get more power more eyes and people watching. More people involed in what your doing. Theres strength in numbers
