1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Tasmin Dhaliwal! I come from a town very close to Toronto in Canada and right now I’m a student who loves being in school, but also would love to pursue a career in business and become my own boss. I have a social media presence mostly on Youtube and a little bit on Instagram and I love using it to raise awareness and help others find their best selves with inner beauty.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love Makeup, beauty, fashion, and all things visually appealing. I mainly post on Instagram when it has to do with products I love, selfies of different makeup looks, or visually aesthetic things such as flowers, building, bath bombs, and food!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

From my Youtube channel handle.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

VSCO cam, facetune (not too much though) and sometimes even magic eye if I wanna turn my brown eyes into a fun new colour for a picture! It all starts with capturing the photo, then importing it in facetune to smooth out my skin, or blur a background. Next, I import it into VSCO cam because I can sharpen, lighten, and improve the contrast. This is also where I like to put on my filters and my favourite one is HB1! If I want to change my eyes I’ll use some fun new apps like magic eyes and then post it on my IG!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Everyone! I love seeing fresh new themes with vibrant colours and personality!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

FOOD. LITERAL VEGAN DELICIOUS FOOD. AND YES…POST ABOUT IT!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Showing people that fun can be found in anything and beauty can be found in even the things we observe on a daily basis.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Pick influencers who are genuine and authentic in order to have the most successful campaign. I maintain authenticity by showing personality through my images and being the best version of MYSELF as possible, and not someone else.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Keep it real, and be you. If you use someone’s content make sure you ask them first, and then give them some credit! Lets all support one another and keep it positive and real.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

working with new brands, learning about new things, and understanding the way brands market!
