1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am currently working to build a following on Instagram before jumping into the YouTube world. I am using social media to build a name for myself. I am located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (USA)

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest include: all things beauty (makeup, skincare, nails, etc), fashion, and fitness. I post the most about makeup, and I will soon start posting more actively about diet and fitness.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My last name is “benenati” and I have a triangle on my cheek (beauty marks) so I changed it to tashailluminati

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use facetune and after light. I will edit my photos with facetune, typically lightening them and if I feel it needs a filter I will put one on using afterlight.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I love jamiegenevieve, lolaliner, and anniejaffrey. They’re all very inspirational, Jamie and Katie follow their own aesthetic and I love their style. Annie has a very inspirational feed which features everything I am interested in.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I’d say if they haven’t yet, try Tarte products. They are some of the best matte eye shadows I’ve used, great pigmentation and they blend wonderfully.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love being able to inspire people, and I love being someone my followers can talk to. I always try to reply to any questions I get and any support feels wonderful.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Id say to give feedback to followers, be active in the community when you’re starting out. A comment will go a long way! Giveaways are wonderful, if you can collaborate and do a loop giveaway its a fantastic way to grow a following. I maintain authenticity by staying true to my followers, and using honesty. I will never promote a product I don’t think is great.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality is very important, the better the quality the better the content. You can take a picture of toast and if the quality is great, the lighting is on point, people are going to respond to it. I am working on improving my photo quality and hope to get a new camera soon. Original content is important, people don’t want to be looking at the same thing a million times.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

It opens many doors, not only for the brand but for the influencer. It also helps followers find great quality product by promoting it.
