Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Syasya Hera @said.syah

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Syasya Hera. A singer, beatboxer, and content creator. I’m one of the members of Bahiyya Haneesa, an acapella group and also Youtuber. Based in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I’m interested in lifestyles, fashion, music, entertainment and beauty. Most of the time I post my music covers, ootds, skincare and makeup recommendations. oh, and my cat Habook!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

said.syah. It’s a shortform of my name Saidatul Syahirah. I loved how people didn’t expect me to be a girl with that Instagram name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Lightroom, Snapseed, PicsArt and Canva are my absolute go to! I would usually snap a picture and edit manually on the gallery itself for the basic editing. The other editing are the cheery on top 😉

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

soimjenn and khairulaming! They are so amazing in the sense that they infuse their creativity in every posting. They managed to promote and highlight the product without having to be hard sell and to me, is the true essence on influencing.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

The ability to share my love to others. For example, I’m obsessed with this specific brand, and I managed to score a collaboration. Now, even my followers could enjoy affiliate discounts from me and that feels amazing!!

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I’ve just found out about StarNgage, hence i have yet to join any campaigns. I do look forward for it though 😉

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

It is important for brands to give rooms for content creators to use their idea for the campaigns as their followers know them as well. They could sense if the posting as mere advertisement or genuinely from the content creator themselves. Time is also important as great results takes time. Rushing for datelines would make the content creator settle for the bare minimum to catch the dateline.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

My advice would be to take your time in brainstorming ideas when making content. Connect and collaborate with people who share to same vision to turn your ideas to life

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Experiencing the product or services first hand. Post collaboration, not only do I develop interest with the brand, I become the supporter for each brand I worked with and continue to follow up on their future projects.
