1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello, myself Suraj Mathkar a Mumbai based Blogger | Event Planner | Casting Director & Actor. Currently, i am handling all the 4 professions & give my best. Born in Mumbai (Vile Parle) currently i reside in Thane.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My niche is beauty & health care. I post content on skincare, hair care & health tips.
My platforms are – Instagram, FB page (4k +) & my website – www.mathkarblogs.com.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

my Instagram handle – mister_mathkar came about randomly. my friends used to call me that back in college.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

To edit i use Adboe Lightroom, Photogrid & InShot. I am not much into editing, i just like to adjust the color balance & highlights. Editing kills the basic feel of the picture, that’s what i feel. so there is no such routine to my editing; i like to keep it simple & relatable.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

there are plenty of them; no one specific as such. i believe everyone has their own style & vibe & I don’t want to kill mine following others’ footsteps. I would prefer to pave my own pathway.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

the best part is the appreciation & feedback which I get from the content I post. that’s most satisfying. I get to share my knowledge with people & they benefit from it; that’s a great feeling.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

i just joined the StarNgage community 🙂 still, under review I suppose. No campaigns yet.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

The basic tip to any brand would be only preach the actual results. Considering myself as an influencer; if i get min of 100 reads on my blog, maybe 30 people may try it or follow it. So i make sure to use the product myself & then post about it. if i have some issues i do get in touch with the brand agency & clear it out.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

as everyone knows Content is the king these days. so whatever the influencers are posting should always be their original content & not duplicated from somewhere. No harm in getting inspiration from others or mega influencers but always have a personal touch to the content that’s what makes it original & that’s the biggest authentication to the audiences.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love trying on new products & partnering with brands helps me do that. Also, partnering helps me to share a variety of options with my audience; which helps to choose the best for them.
