Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Stacy Breland @Stacydolltv

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I come from a small town about an hour away from Houston, Tx. I moved to Houston to grow professionally because in my hometown there isn’t much room to grow. I am self employed and at this moment I have many different investment projects that I’m working on. I consider myself to be really well rounded and I don’t ever put all my eggs in one basket. In other words, I take on many opportunities that come my way. I’ve done makeup appointments in preparation for weddings and parties. I’ve done styling. I promote and sale products I believe in. I’ve done personal assisting to entrepreneurs and business owners with innovative products in an effort to learn from those experiences to help me grow my own business. I’m in the process of building my brand by starting a blog and YouTube channel as well. I want to be the kind of influencer that impacts women, men, and children to love theirselves more and I want to use my own personal experience to be a romodel for others that have gone through similar experiences as me and help them see that they can take those experiences and use them to better their lives and the lives of others rather than turn towards drugs, alcohol, or jail time. My life hasn’t been easy, but I want that to fuel me and give me even more purpose to help people. Makeup, fashion, photography, and music are only an outlet for me to express myself in a positive way while having fun. I want to use those outlets as a way to connect with people and make a bigger impact into the hearts of the connections I make through those avenues. I really want to make a difference in the life’s of others.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Creativity and self love. Sparking creativity and self love is what my page is all about. Whether it be through personal style/fashion, makeup, hair, fitness, or family. My content is meant to inspire and make people smile and feel good.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Stacydolltv was created for YouTube. I have this idea to make videos similar to a talk show setting where I find people with amazing inspirational stories and give them makeovers (fashion, hair, etc.) and then after we talk makeup and fashion we talk about their story and how they came out on top. I want to create videos sharing special feel good moments with my audience. Testimonials of influential people all over the world that will bring inspiration to the lives of my viewers. This is my ultimate goal with StacydollTV. I’m looking to make an impact, make a positive difference. I want to create videos with stories of survival and success when people didn’t give up. Inspirational stories of overcoming the odds and dreams coming true. Feel good stories that impact and light a fire inside people to inspire themselves to overcome and accomplish their own dreams and goals.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I like Facetune, LensLight, Picjointer, Lumyer, and PicLab. I also use the features Instagram gives to edit photos. I like to bring light and detail to a pic. I like pic effects that add personality to a pic. I try to edit the pic to help the viewer see it in my eyes, set the mood of the pic if you will. I’ve recently invested in better cameras so that I can upgrade the quality of my photos and videos.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Jaclyn Hill, Nicol Concilio, Christen Dominique, Gigi Gorgeous (just to name a few). I enjoy their content and watching them grow and I admire their drive and perseverance to not give up. They are go getters!! I love that.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Wow!! Just one thing! One ?Lol! I’ve been obsessed lately in taking care of my body. So if I had to choose one thing at this very moment I would say a detoxing sauna treatment.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Sharing what I love with others, being a remodel, and making positive connections.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Be relatable and admirable. By being honest and true to myself and who I am.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality means you care. So, it’s super important to always give your best. And being original is just as important because at some point copying people will become boring. You should always be your original, wonderful, and creative self. Copying won’t take anyone too far, you will always be one step behind that way.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Learning from them and representing what I love.
