1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I grew up in Moreno Valley, Ca and my nickname in school was Shabel (which i hated) because my name rhymes. During my years in school I was un-attractive, not popular, and basicaly a loser. I was the girl that was used and abused because I was gullible and had no confidence. But, one thing that has never changed is that I’ve always been smart and I’ve always been money hungry. Even with my flaws I promised myself that I would become someone and I would show everyone who I was truly meant to be. When I was 19 I became homeless. But those years to come I combined my street smarts with my book smarts. When I was 20 I met my daughters dad & had My princess a couple years later & named her Destinie. When I was 23 I went to Marinellos School of Beauty & obtained my cosmetology license. I wanted to learn as much as I could so I could really put the kowledge to use on myself. Few years later here I am & Im exactly the person I promised myself I would become which is fabolous! Im free- spirited, happy & more confident than ever. Living my life the way I want with no strings attached!!!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post primarily makeup but i also like fitness & fashion.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

The name i choose black__quuen__ comes from how i truly perceive myself after all of the obstacles I’ve faced.

There is no instagrammer who inspires me but I am a fan of dreamdoll_, wiintrr, stylechannel, & salicerose

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Introducing products that alot of people didnt know about or was afraid to purchase.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

You’ve gotta spend money to make money & to diversify.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Companies can build a reputation for quality because it helps maintain customer loyalty. As far as original content, no potential client or customer want to see the same thing.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Not only the money of course but I can introduce brands to my followers they were never aware of. I also learn alot along the way.
