Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Shanna Soh @rainbowprickles

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m from a little country called Singapore, and I am a freelance model.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love doing photoshoots and dressing up for events. I also love to play sports, such as basketball. I enjoy the nightlife and a good night out is when booze and a good company of friends come together.

I post mostly of my daily activities or photoshoots, otherwise pictures with my friends and loved ones.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I see myself as a very colourful person and felt that “rainbow” is something that best describes me….. as for the other part of my Instagram name, it sounds catchy so I joined the two words together and got the perfect username.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually use the editing tools on Instagram, and for further editing, I like to use Snapseed as it is very precise for certain areas that might need editing, instead of the whole picture.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I don’t follow any Instagrammers explicitly, but I love to follow pages that have really good feeds such as @euniceannabel, and fashion brands such as @saboskirt and @whowhatwear

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Let people know the real you.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I would not say that I am an influencer, but my favourite part is that I get to share my pictures and life with the world.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I feel that we should always maintain authenticity and always be truthful with the review. I maintain authenticity by choosing my campaigns proper and making sure that I really root for and love rather than just taking the campaign for the sake of it.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Write exactly how you feel about the campaign. There is no need to fluff it up and decorate it with flowery words if it’s as good as what it is.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I gain experience with working in a big company and also learn how they work.
