Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Sergio Guerra @soysergioguerra

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I come from a port city called Mazatlan, in Mexico but living in Guadalajara, I actually am an ongoing architect with a huge passion in landscape photography, I don’t have a style, I just picture the moment and I do think that is what identify me the most, I also live part time in San Francisco so I take a lot of pictures there too.
Because I work architecture I for sure think that I combine an artistic way of life with architecture and I show that on my photographs. So being an architect helps a lot to understand how to make the perfect picture combining life.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Travel, Landscapes, Architecture, Cars, Lifestyle, Clothing, Cameras.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

The name soysergioguerra is divided in three words, soy, sergio and guerra, the last two are simply my name and the first means “I am” in spanish. Is that simple.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Depending on the rush most of my pictures are edited on Adobe Lightroom or Afterlight. Some others in Snapseed.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Alexstrohl, ioegreer and chrisburkard.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Just visited Petra, Jordan. I think not only my fellow instagrammers but all the instagrammers should go there to take amazing pictures.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My people is the best. I don’t call them followers, I call them friends.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Details matter most. Make sure you add that extra thing that will make you feel the competition did not do in every campaigns along with the details and your content will be the best.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Always keep improving and innovating because no matter what, that’s what will keep you in the top of the rock!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I learn a lot from everyone and everything.
