Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Serene Salinas @SereneandSalinas

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

We are currently working behind the scenes on how to strategically build our fan base. Serene is from Cuba, she came when she was 6 years old to America and has lived a very challenging financial life, but has pushed her way through all on her own through high school, college and now finally being able to pursue what she knows she was born to do. She is truly a great example of a strong influential woman who never gives up. Salinas comes from Argentina, he has many years of experience performing all throughout Europe, he has shared the stage with Arturo Sandoval famous trumpet player and Sheila E, he was also contracted by him in his club in Miami. Salinas a long time ago heard a voice in his ear right before beginning his musical adventure leaving to Germany from Argentina and the audible voice told him “No one will discover you, but you will discover a woman who is Sagittarius and a Dragon” His heart melted inside of him when he heard as this person according to the Chinese calendar was not born yet, years later he met this woman and her name is Serene.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Topics of interest are Nature, Music, sports, beauty & love. We mostly post our events, promo pictures that specifically have to do with our group concept of the balance between a man and a woman. We post bloopers from time to time & our original music as well.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

We wanted a source of social media that would allow us to be more personal with our audience and share our music and our story. Our audience is the most important thing to us, how they perceive us and what they receive from us. Music, Dance & Rhythm we feel is our freedom, to express, to be free without boundaries to our imagination and creativity.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

We really do all our editing in our home studio, We normally only use the Instagram color alteration.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

boomingvoices , its always inspiring to see instagrammers who show value and respect for all artists on their page.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

They must try the authentic Cuban Mojito 🙂

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Our favorite part is the feedback from our followers, its great to see that we can make a difference with our art in someone’s life, or inspire them to be and do better. We are aiming high with our project and we believe our story to be one of a kind. Thank you so much for featuring us!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Always be approachable, open to criticism, always have strategic plans on how to target the specific audience you are going for. We maintain authenticity by being original, always thinking outside the box, never repeating ourselves at least try not to. Always staying on our A game and coming with something better each and of course learning from our mistakes.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Very important, the audience can get distracted by any minor detail. We are very critical on what we post before we even post, even if we don’t post in a few weeks. For us its better to always to give the best of the best. You only have one chance at first impression.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Partnering with other brands is best because you get to partner with teams of professionals who all have the same goal, reach the audience. Any brand that we partner with for us would be the brand/brands that share our perspective on art, music & the balance there should be between a man and a woman.
