Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Sarah Christine Hangartner @__sch__

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m an artist living in New Orleans. I call myself, broadly, an artist because my mediums change with my whims. I’m currently fully submerged in the Hollywood and fashion industries, and that’s well reflected in my feed. I’m also a studying herbalist who is in the beginning stages of starting an herbal cooperative.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I mostly post photos from fashion shoots. The second most common posting would be something on health, usually foods or other plant uses.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My initials

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Before getting an iPhone, I was a strict VSCO user. These days, however, I prefer the photo editor that comes in the phones software.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

So many!! I’m a big follower of @dorideer and her @tribedemama sisters. Also @yasminemei @aleajoy and the west coast crafter circle.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Marie Kondo-ing their life.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

The support. I feel like I have a tribe again. In this digital world, I feel like we reached a point of peak isolation and are starting to really use social media to reconnect with our loved ones and find other, incredible, like-minded individuals.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Find real people who share their intimate stories. Those influencer’s followers will be much more invested in the influencers opinions, because they are seen as a close friend.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Your photo has to stand out from a tiny grid just to get people to click on it. Then the words have to be engaging enough to be read, even more so to get a response. Act accordingly.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love being the creative director for my shoots. I love dreaming of color schemes, styling, locations, etc. I love the entire process.
