Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Sameer Birbal @sameerbirbalphotography

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am Sameer Birbal and my age is 21. I am living in New Delhi, India. I am a student of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, Delhi University pursuing a degree a Bachelor of Commerce. I am also a traveler and photographer. Turns out my hobby became a passion. I have now more than 9,500 followers!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love photography and traveling so I post a lot of travel photography on Instagram.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s my name. Photography is my hobby. So I added the word “photography” after my name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I either use my iPhone or a Canon camera to capture pictures. I’d process them out with Lightroom/Photoshop depending on which I think suits better. I mostly use presents in Lightroom. I have more than 1000 presents in Lightroom.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I don’t usually pay attention to other instagrammers but I like @dishapatani. She is so beautiful.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part of being an influencer is, getting to know other people because of Instagram. It’s nice to have conversations with people who share the same passion as me. It’s amazing how an app can connect people who never knew each other.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I haven’t joined any campaign yet but looking forward to joining the campaigns. I have already applied in campaigns and waiting for approval from the brands.

8) What are some of your top tips for brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Stay true with your products as I influence my followers to buy them. I have knowledge of marketing so this is what I love to do, promote a brand and see results.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality and originality are not about impressing or try to impress anyone, you always have to put out what you feel and what you have or what you can offer.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The friendships & trust you build from partnering brands as they provide with all the knowledge that’s out there to learn. Having an opportunity itself is a blessing in every form of work.
