Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Ronn Rich @ronnrich

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a NYC-native and co-founder of an online company called Four Thirty where I connect emerging and establish brands to top-toed creative freelancers. Prior to launching Four Thirty I spent 7+ years working in the communications industry working with top brands like Revlon, Elizabeth Arden, IKEA, Blackberry and many more.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My content typically focuses on travel, food & beverage, grooming and entrepreneurship.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name is a condensed version of my name (Ronn Richardson) @RonnRich. Kept it simple and straight to the point. It also helps with personal brand recognition and it’s easy to remember.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Whether I take the photo on my iPhone or with my DSLR, I typically use a combination of Lightroom (on my Mac), VSCO and Snapseed.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I’d say, Carry On Cocktail kit. I love to travel and I love great cocktails, so finding this product was the best thing ever. With just one small kit, I completely upgraded my in-flight cocktail game and since most of my followers are also avid travelers, I know they’d love it too!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Being able to inspire, educate and motivate people to travel, try new things, visit new places and meet new people. I don’t have a huge following, but my followers are super engaged and it’s always funny when I’m out and someone says, “are you Ronn Rich?” It never gets old.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Identify influencers that align with your brand, ensure that that have engaged followers, make sure the content they create is authentic to their personal brand and be sure their copy is just as strong and impactful as their visuals.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality and original content is at the core of any great influencer campaign. Aside from creating content that promotes a brand, it’s products or ideas, the content should embody and be relative to the influencers that are selected. Word of mouth marketing is a powerful and proven method of promoting and further a brand’s missions, so done correctly, company’s can seamlessly establish or elevate their brands.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

With a background in digital communications and art direction, I love helping brands tell their stories. I’ve always been a believer in the power of effective storytelling and I love to use beautiful images to communicate those messages. Partnering with brands is the perfect conduit to bringing my passion and creativity to life.
