1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am Rod Magaru, from the Philippines. I am a Lifestyle and Entertainment blogger/Content creator.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Mostly Lifestyle angles such as travel, gadget, a bit of fashion and interesting places I’ve been.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Just the very same name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use lightroom and VSCO for photo coloring. These are very helpful.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I follow @mensuitsteam and @mensfashion and @menaboutfashion plus @doyoutravel

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I guess meeting a lot of creative and interesting individuals and get to work with them gave me more perspective. I also learned a lot from them.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I love StarNgage because it embodies the same brand execution and niche that I am. It only promotes goodness and goodwill and how StarNgage promotes an equal opportunity & relationship to all of its signed influencers.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think being real is very important. Not too hard to sell something such as making sure that you are the one who really use the product they promote. The brand must know their influencers long enough so that it becomes a long term relationship. Maintaining authenticity means reaching out to your viewers, and not pretend to be promoting something that is not aligned with their values.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It is very important because content creation is not only about posting a project. While it is very important to have good quality photos and videos, posting original content also represent your values.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like working with brands because this is a win-win relationship for both influencers and brands. You get to know the brand’s philosophy and values so it is very important to really engage with brands to get to know more about them.
