Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Robin @veganbeautyreviewnl

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi, my name is Robin. I’m from Belgium, and spend a lot of time in The Netherlands. I work part-time in a flowershop.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

As far as my Instagram account goes, I’m all about peace and veganism, actually. Most of the time, I post quotes. It seems to attract a lot of like-minded people, and inspires people to share. I get a couple of messages each week; people asking if they can share my quotes, which is actually pretty sweet.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I was looking online for a websitename, and started typing in related words. I knew I wanted something that had to do with veganism, and I liked a couple of accounts that did review type videos. Hence the name, veganbeautyreviewnl. The nl bit implies that I’m in The Netherlands, which is kinda correct.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use WordSwag and Watermark P. As for the routine, I look for 2 colors that fit just right. Then, I go into WordSwag and create a quote, using filters. There’s multiple fonttypes, so that’s nice. I also tend to play around within the fonttypes.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

That’s a great question. @vegancommunity & @vegansupplyco are definitely two of them.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Inspire other people.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Inspiring non-vegans to go vegan. Another thing I like is to socialize with vegans on instagram.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Plan ahead. Keep a schedule. Learn from your feedback. And keep improving. About the authenticity: I get tired of using the same colors over and over, so I tend to switch them up every couple of weeks.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I’d advice a brand to appoint someone to manage the input of their Instagram account. If that person likes to fool around with fonts, and get creative, that’s a huge plus.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

If it’s vegan, then I’d like to promote in on my Instagram. As a benefit, I get to know the products a lot better.
