Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Rjay Miranda @rjay_miranda

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am Rjay Miranda, a software engineer residing in the Philippines. With my current job, I am usually behind a computer screen. Which is why I changed things up (for the better) and right now I am so into traveling, hiking, and exploring.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I am into nature and the outdoor side of travel. As you can see on my feed, it’s usually mountains, forests, and beaches. I just love how nature shows us how beautiful she is and how we can find ways to take care of our only home.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram username is literally my name. I like things to just be simple 🙂

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Adobe Lightroom to edit my photos. It was a struggle at first but when I got the hang of it, it made my photos look better. I just created my own presets and it’s just a quick job to edit photos now.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Jacob Riglin (@jacob) and Jeremy Jauncey (@jeremyjauncey) inspired me a lot! Their content speaks up for itself and is very inspiring.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part is on how you get to talk to people and share my own insights. I am a real positive person, so sharing all the positivity is all I can do to make this dark world a bit better.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

My favorite part is it helps people like me who are just starting. It is a good starting point for us to be able to improve.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I guess picking the right people in the right niche is the way to go for a campaign to work. There should also be a mutual understanding between the influencer and the brand itself. Taking good photos is also key.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality and original content should be a must. How can people like and use the brand if the content itself isn’t attractive. The higher the quality or the more original the content, the more reach and engagements it will surely have.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The feeling of trust and mutual understanding like I said above is what I like most about partnering with brands. Both get something so both benefit as well.
