Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Renz King Gamboa @renzgamboa

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Im Renz King Gamboa, a college student from the Philippines. I started using Instagram when I was still 14 years old but that was when I’m only uploading irrelevant, useless, and low-quality photos (haha). I started to fix my feed when I learned about #feedgoals and saw some of the famous Instagrammers’ feeds.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I mostly post random stuffs, fashion, lifestyle, and travel. Whatever I can take a photo of my everyday routines as long as it fits my feed.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram username consists of my first and last name. I keep my username as original, identifiable and keep it as my trademark.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Snapseed and Instagram! I only use the Brush tool and Selective tool on Snapseed and I adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation, highlights, shadows, and sharpen tools on Instagram depending on the photo’s situation.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

@davidguison and @mikewillfly are my top most Instagram inspirations. Both are capable to express themselves thru their fascinating photos and influence others with great impact. They really have this aura which makes me smile and be optimistic about life.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Try to be original! And also, try to influence others as well through your own ways.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

That is, of course, influencing others. It’s really empowering knowing you’re able to make an impact on others’ lives in a good way through social media. By simply posting a photo, you are able to shift someone’s idea, mood, and even life-changing decisions.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Don’t just follow the trend, be the trend! How? Be as original as possible and produce quality products. As an influencer, I usually promote products through the brands name, objectives, goals, idea or in short, it’s authenticity as a brand.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality and original content is really, really important because you’re trying to influence others through your own experiences and perspective. You’re trying to express yourself for it is a passion. You’re trying to pull off your uniqueness as a consumer and also as an influencer.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The relationship you’re trying to build with and the interactions you’re making. It’s really an overwhelming feeling when a brand tries to put their trust in you and when you’re actually gaining experience with each other.
