Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Rachel Fischer @rchlfshr

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello! My name is Rachel. I am a current full-time college student and part-time barista in the outskirts of Phoenix, Arizona. When it comes down to it, my passion in coffee. I love to associate myself with people who share the same passions as me so I can learn and observe more about it. I think people and coffee are two beautiful things.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Like I have mentioned, coffee is something I absolutely love. People make fun of me because I rarely post selfies on my Instagram but I honestly love sharing my coffee adventures more. I also love traveling; with loving photography, I want others to see my adventures as if they are there with me.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I always laugh when I get asked this question. There was a day when I was thinking a lot about what my Instagram name should be. I wanted it to be personal so I just thought that it should be my first and last name without the vowels.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Depending on what the photo is, my favorite one would have to be VSCOcam. The filters that they provide are on point! If I need to edit the lighting or contrast, I’ll use Snapseed because that is the most accurate photo editor that I can reply on.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Oh my gosh! There is so many Instagrammers that I love! One of my all time favorites is shannonleemiller_ because she is the photographer I aspire to be. Sara_de is another one since she travels around the world and I love see she all the countries she visits. And lastly, my lovely friend, ericatorgeson, she takes such cute photos of her life and her wedding photos are phenomenal!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Turkish coffee! It may not taste like Starbucks coffee, because it isn’t! Turkish coffee is a method of preparing unfiltered coffee. It is finely ground coffee that is simmered in a pot, and served in a cup where the grounds are allowed to settle. It has an acquired taste but it is delicious!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Being an influencer, you are able to share your ideas to people who are reading. It lets you inspire others to do or try different things. I think it is amazing because it lets you share your story to whoever is reading.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

It may sound cliche, but keep true to yourself. If you alter yourself because it is what people want, I promise you that you will lose yourself. Remember who you are and what you love and everything will fall into place.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Make sure your photos are of what you love. Altering your photos to things that are trendy but you don’t really care for is not very original. All I have to say is keep it true to you!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The best part is being able to connect my networks with brands. It has opened up a lot of doors to meeting new people and that is something I love!
