Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Petra @skitnica

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi. My name is Petra Mamic and I am a 25 year old dreamer from Croatia. I just graduated from college and I am still finding my passion and trying to find a fulfilling career for me. I spend my time on traveling, shopping, hobbies, my friends and family and my dog.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love pfotography and I have an eye for details so Instagram is my social network of choice. I post on average 1 photo a day, sometimes even 2 or three. My topics of interest are traveling and nature, fashion and shoes, healthy lifestyle and good food, design and possitive aspects of life.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name is @skitnica which means wanderer in croatian. I’ve chosen this name because I am passionate about life and everything I do and I love to travel more then anything.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Vsco for editing my photos. I do not alter my photos much, because I try to take photos in good natural light, so I usually just use brightness, contrast and sharpen. My favourite filter on Vsco is A5, but i tone it down because I want my pictures to look natural.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

There are a lot of Instagramers that inspire me every single day. I love people who are simple, have their own style and care for their instafamily. Some of the people I love are: @lovelypepa, @ivachu, @noorofmyeyes, @tuulavintage, @sincerelyjules.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I don’t have a thing to recomend. But everybody should try to be more honest, kind, caring. No things can be more important than that.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

comunicate every day with a lot of different people and brands.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

first find your niche and your instagram stlye and stick with that. engage with your folowers and answer questions, held givaways and repost best photos instagramers tok of your product.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

be yourself.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Trying out new products and helping brands in targeting more people.
