1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am Patrick Schmetzer. I am 26 years old. I am a fulltime photographer and videographer. Also im doing grafic design. I am originally from Mobile/Alabama USA and im currently living in Frankfurt/Germany.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I have multitple accounts for each topic. My biggest one is mainly landscape and some animals. My others are just about all the topics. 1 for people. 1 for animals. 1 for wildlife and 1 for landscape.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

well, my name is patrick schmetzer, so thats how i got my instagram name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I dont really use apps anymore. On the beginning of my account i started with snapseed. Which is an amazing program. Now i use a mix of Photoshop Lightroom, Photoshop CC 2016 and Nik Software.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really like Germanroamers. Those guys always find the best spots in germany. Sometimes I see spots on their channel just to go there myself.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love to inspire people and make them happy. I want to give something to this world with my work.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Just be yourself. Stick with 1 style and be good to your followers. Try to build up a relationship with each one. Reply to them, answer their private messages, help them if they have questions. Things like that 😉

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Try to be unique. Do something that no one else does. If you see 10000 people posting the same photography style then change your style to something that only 10 people use instead. Try to tell a story with your images.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Build up relationships. Push each other.
