Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Noah Merzbacher @noah.zip

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I come from Zurich. It’s the biggest city in Switzerland. I’m currently studying .

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I really like fashion especially vintage fashion. I post “tumblr” style pictures and show my followers pretty cafes and ootds.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I wanted to include my name (Noah) but also something special so I decided to name my Instagram @noah.zip since “zip” is a file name for pictures

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I always edit in Vsco cam with the filter a6,m5 and c7. I adjust brightness and contrast in the instagram app. Sometimes I add film camera overlays from Mextures.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I absolutely love @nycbambi @vanellimelli @frixday @nandaschwarz and many others

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Try to find their own style.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

The conversation with my followers and the reactions I get. I love to ineract with my followers and get tips on what I should visit If I’m traveling to a new city.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Try to find Instagrammers that really fit your brand and also ask the Influencer to really incooporate the advertisement into a photo and not just take a picture of it. It should be a photo worth posting without the adveritsement.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I think it is really important to get inspiration from other Instagrammers but at the same time the only way to get new followers and build your own community is through original content. You need to be known for something. I usually shoot with a camera but Iphone pictures can be great too just don’t throw 100 of filters on it. Less is more.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like showing my followers new brands I really believe in.
