Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Nina Bosken @aworldofdresses

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a creative and adventurous woman from Cincinnati, Ohio but soon to be living overseas in Spain where I will teach English. I am passionate about women’s empowerment, travel and learning about other cultures. I absolutely love dresses and am wearing one about 95% of the time.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love anything about women’s empowerment and loving yourself. I also just love dresses and helping other women. I post content about my personal style, style tips and the stories of other badass women on my Instagram.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name is my blog name, A World of Dresses. Last September, I knew that I wanted to start a blog all about dresses and women. Yet I also have this passion to travel, so A World of Dresses just seemed very fitting. Starting this fall, you’ll see a lot of photos of me traveling while wearing all my dresses.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Most of my photos are shot on my Nikon DSLR camera and then edited on iphoto. Additionally, I sometimes use Canva, Layout or VSCO.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I’ve described Hillary Rushford as an Instagram goddess on several occasions. I also really love my blogger pal Jessica Moore’s (@missmoorestyle) feed. She consistently posts eye-catching content.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I really love how user-friendly VSCO is so I’d probably say that.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love the connections with people from all over the world that I’ve made. I’ve connected with other bloggers from places like El Salvador, the Netherlands and Angola all through Instagram.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

On-going relationships with a handful of influencers who love your products is best. If we love it, we will continue to share our experiences with our audience time and time again.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Always be thinking about what you can post and change it up a bit. Followers want to see that you are a normal person, more than anything. I try to have some variety in my photos while still maintaining quality.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love how we mutually expand our audiences when we work together. It’s like we get to share the best parts of ourselves with each other.
