Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Monta @montazaumane

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Monta and I am from Latvia. Probably only the few of you will know where it is, but I can tell you – it really beautiful there. I came from a little town in the middle of the country, my house is near woods and a river called by my city name Iecava. So as I am a “country side girl”, I love nature. Birds, woods, dirt, it’s all okay. Since I am studying languages, history and literature in capital city of Latvia, i need to get used to city life too. I don’t want to say that I am very succesful at this, but i’m trying.
Sometimes I write stories, my thoughts and sometimes I make art which you can see on my Instagram. Lately I havent done that, because of my other interests, so I guess i need to go to another question

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love motocross and bikes, as I usually say I am not a boy, but I am not a girly girl either. I wanna get my nails done but then again I wanna ride four wheelers too haha. I literally have so many interests i can’t even imagine how much time I can spend trying new things and learning. That’s life is for 😉
My Instagram feed is based on nature, motorcycle, outfit ideas and every day events. I don’t have themed feed, I just post everything that makes me happy.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram name is my name and surname so it would be easy to find. nothing original but nothing hard as well,

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually edit my photos on vsco cam. I love filter KK1, then i add a little bit of tint to add pink shade, a little bit of contrast and that’s it. Of course, it depends on the photo, not all of them are the same and I choose what I think is the best at that moment.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I like madisonbeer, baddiewinkle, jcjillcox, jessicahaggett, itsmariel (art themed) and I love iamgalla feed! But the best of the best is dallasclayton, i just admire his personality and spirit, so i want to become like him. I know it’s a long shot, but it is totally worth it. Just look at his poems! Even cooler, come across his paintings or signs on the streets.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

To just took their shoes off and take a walk without them in the middle of the night with chocolate in your pockets. We are becoming so much ignorant with those kind of moments, so we need to make new ones on purpose. Believe me, after this I am going to take a walk. And I don’t care i have to wake up after 4 hours to go to school or I don’t care it’s 10 degrees Celsium there. Just go! Make some memories just for yourself!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

That someone might hear me. That they can always hit me up and tell everything they have to say. I have received many messages that I inspire them and this is the bestestest feeling in the world. Then you have no choice but to be as positive as that person sees me. Expectially, if that person is a kid and the messenger is his mom. Nothing compares to that.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I guess they could focus more on charity campaigns, helping people and use it to speak up with public.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Everything is based on quality. As we speak about friendships, quality and quantity, quality always wins. So as well the orginality. Those are 2 things everyone should be paying attention. For quality and original content people are paying and will pay, so I guess the only advice i can give is to focus on them both not one of them.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Experience! It’s always good to connect something enjoyable and something usable. With this kind of experience maybe I will never get bored to take photos of beautiful things and make some art too 😉
