1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
Right now I’m living in France, and I’m staying for one year. The reason why I’m here is because I love travelling and learning new languages. I like to say that I’m not from any specific country, even though I’m born and raised in Norway, because my family lives in both China and America, and I have lots of friends overseas. I have always felt different no matter where I was, for example in Norway I felt different by my look, and in China by the culture difference. I usually say that I’m an international child.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
I love everything from travel and food to fashion. I post pictures from my travels, fashion, portraits from photoshoots, friends and other things that inspires me, as well as my own thoughts and opinions.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
Well, I made my instgram account ages ago with my real name, and voila! I have just kept it because it makes it easier for followers to remember me and my account.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I usually just use the editing program which is already on instagram because I find it the most convenient. I get all the functions I need, such as exposing, saturating, highlighting, etc. But if I want to put an effect on my pictures, I use VSCO; A6, HB1 and HB2 are my favorites.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
There are a lot of good instagram accounts out there. I mostly follow instagram accounts about fashion, food and travel. I follow a lot of aspiring models and models who are already in the industy, and they inspire me to work hard for what I want to achieve. Two examples are the two known models Inka Williams and Candice Swanepoel. The travel accounts I follow, such as Jay Alvarrez, post pictures that make me restless and make me want to travel the world, because there are so many things to explore, and life is to short to waste.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
Hmm, I would really recommend my followers to travel to France just for the food’s sake. Don’t go to just Paris, go to small towns and experience the local food and get to know the culture. The baguettes and the patisseries here are wonderful, and so is the country.
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
My favorite part of being an influencer is that I have got a voice that can engange and influence my followers with my thoughts and opinions. It makes me happy to be an inspiration to others.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
It is very important to make something original and creative, and the content has to give a postive vibe. Use pictures and models that are different and remarkable, so that people remember the brand for something of their own. The more they remember and talk about the brand, the more successful it will become. To create good content is of course very important as well.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
To me quality and original content are everything. To gain followers you have to create a feed and picture that capture a person’s interest. You can ask yourself: Would you follow an account with bad quality pictures and pictures without interest? I don’t think so. Be original, be you.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
I haven’t been partnering with any brands yet, but I would really like to try it out!
