Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Mirka Sulkunen @mirkaelisabeth

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a 23-year-old young mother from Finland. I’m studying health education at university in Finland.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Im interested of health and wellness, training, healthy food, travel, fashion etc. I post pictures of my everyday life; where I am, what do I eat, what I’m wearing and doing.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s my first nime + my second name 🙂

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use different apps in different occasions. I use whitagram to get white borders to my pictures. I usually add more brightness, less contrast and work with saturation and brigtness etc

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My favs are “hilvees” and “eljackson”. They inspire me with their magical pictures and by their adventurous hearts. Also a finnish nature photographer “kpunkka” has a great feed!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

At least it’s not Pokemon Go

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I like sharing acknowledge and giving/having a peer support. Communication with others is super!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Well right campaigns for right people is the most important thing. Don’t take influencers for granted. Appreciate them. I maintain authenticity by being real. Doing things I really like. If I dont’t like something I’m not afraid to say/show it. My opinions are not for sale, you have to earn it.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Always look for quality, especially if your poor. Poor can’t afford bad quality.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Finding new brands and sharing it with others! I love when I found something new and start favouring them!
