1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Melissa, I’m from California currently living in Texas. I’m an outdoors woman, traveler and animal lover.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Mostly lifestyle, food, my pets and my Jeep.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name used to be ThatWasian which is what everyone called me, now its just simple with my name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use two editing apps, FaceTune and Afterlight. I don’t use FaceTune on myself unless needed, I mainly use the detail feature to enhance waves, color and details on certain objects. I use Afterlight to give it a nice tint or look.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I’d have to say Sadie Robertson, Payton Burrows and my best friend Kimmi. Each post things that inspires you to go out and live life, have fun and travel,

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Travel!!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Meeting new people, trying new things and going to new places.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Always be honest, I wouldn’t want to be the one on the other side if it was wrong and dishonest.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality is always important, I always prefer crisp and clear detail in pictures which is why I use my Sony Dlsr camera, GoPro and even my phone. Original content is always great, who likes hearing the same old thing repeated?

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

You get to watch and experience the company grow bigger and bigger, showing others your love and passion with them. It’s also given me more reason to enjoy life.
