Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Meline Gasparyan @preciousmel

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Meline I am a fashion designer/Blogger and CEO of my clothing brand JHENYA. JHENYA is located in one of LAs largest luxury shopping malls, Westfield Topanga Mall. I decided to do blogging with my personal account because people always live my style and ask me where I got it from and how to style it. I always get messages and call with fashion questions, my swipe up links are active by my audience, they love to see new product info and details. I am currently working on launching my own blog website. I love fashion and creating beautiful content for brands.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Fashion is my number one and runner up would be coffee! I also love blogging about beauty products (which I’m currently in works for some brands) accessories and everything a girl loves and needs.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Honestly, I had preciousmel on my Facebook so when IG launched I chose to keep the same name. People love it and refer me by precious Mel. I have thought about changing to my first and last name but preciousmel just feels right.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use apps to brighten and give a dust look on some pictures. I use Facetune for detailing and brightening. Also Over is good for using the dust feature.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I love female entrepreneurs! I get inspired by them such as Diana Madison, Desi Perkins, Katy, Adrienne Bailon etc.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

A beauty fridge, a jade roller and summer fridays masks!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love inspiring woman, I love taking pictures and creating beautiful content.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

To do what feels right for their own brand and not what is trending and played out. Whatever may work for some brands may not work for all.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Think outside the box. Don’t do the same things you see in social media by 10 other people. Try to be you, your personally is what will draw authentic audience and honest audience.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Creating different content for them, product knowledge and helping others reach their dreams.
