Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Megan Bloomfield @littlemissmegss

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hey! My name is Megan and I’m a 15 year old beauty, fashion and lifestyle Instagrammer and Youtube from the UK! I became interested in Youtube last year and soon found that Instagram is an amazing platform to reach out to viewers and other creatures.And now, a year on, I’m shamelessly obsessed with both!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My number one fave topic is Makeup! Anything related and I’m obsessed! I love reading and posting product reviews and different makeup looks I create. I also adore lifestyle posts about healthy living and exercise too.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

‘littlemissmegss’ actually came about as when I was little was obsessed with the Mr Men and Little Miss’ books. My grandparents used to always read me the stories when I came to stay with them and as a nickname they decided to call me Little Miss Megss and somehow the name just stuck!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

My fave apps are definately VSCO cam and facetune. I tend to lead towards a more saturated picture in spring and summer but tone it down in the colder months, using filters such as T1 and P5.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

For an all-around place of happiness I love ‘mylifeaseva’ as her feed is so bright and colourful! However I also adore ‘sprinkleofcaity’ who is a much smaller account but her feed has such a gorgeous theme and her picture quality is insane!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I recently was sent a package from a company called Dream Dots, and so far their products have been amazing! They are all patches that you stick on any spots and they clear them up overnight! I seriously recommend everyone gives them a try because my skin has never looked better!!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

The fact that I can bring together both brands and users in a way that is not able to happen on other social medias. Someone can comment asking for a good skincare brand and I can respond and hopefully help them out!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Being honest is always the most important thing. Make sure your description of the product is genuine and you are much more likely to attract influencers that way!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It is so important to be original with your own style, this can help you stand out from any other influencers and make brands choose you over any other competitors.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The fact that I can give my viewers an honest opinion of the brand and they can trust that I am telling the truth! I also get to experience many new companies which I would not be aware of if I was not an influencer.
