Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Martina @asuitcaseandadream

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi! My name is Martina, I’m an Italian girl with “a suitcase and a dream” 🙂
Since I was little I’ve alway been passionate about discovering the world, every little corner of it, so as soon as I got the chance to travel, I’ve took it!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I mostly post pictures of the beauties of the world: whenever I go to a new city I like to discover its story and the best places to visit and to eat! Eh eh

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It comes from my main passion: traveling. At first I wasn’t sure about creating my own page, but I am super motivated in what I do so everything I need in life is a suitcase and a dream, that’s why I choose to use that as my instagram name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t usually edit photos, cause I think nature doesn’t need any kind of filter so I like to show others the beauties of our world in their own light and angles.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

“beautifuldestinations” and “sassychris1” are definitely the pages I like the most: I fall in love with every single picture they post!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

The adrenaline you get from adventures. I think that sometimes people don’t get to live their trips at the fullest because they are too attached to the idea of “what to see” and “where to eat”; sometimes you just need to buy a ticket and discover the place when you get there.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I don’t really consider myself as an influencer, but more as a friend..that one friend who’s ready to give an advice whenever someone needs it!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I like to keep my authenticity by only posting pictures that I personally took. All of the pictures on my page are my own, and I think that’s the main thing you have to do is to run a company at its best because you show others the love you feel doing that certain thing.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality is a priority in everything you decide to do because, as we say here in Italy, “eyes want their part too”: you have to be fascinated by what you see. Plus, it also is a must posting original contents because the internet is so full of things that you need to show people something they have never seen to make it through the field.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

First of all, I like interacting with people. I like listening to what others have to say and learn as much as I can from anyone I meet. I also like to expose my own ideas and see if they can make a difference.
