Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Marianna Henud @marihenud

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am originally from Brazil. Since the age of 19, I travel the world as a model and have always been passionate about travel and culture. Two years ago I decided to start a blog to upload my travel photos and outfits, at the same time I changed the focus of my Instagram account to fashion and travel and my followers started to grow.
The blog was meant to be for my friends, but more and more people were visiting.
Today I am still modeling and traveling, and at the same time working as an influencer and blogger. I have also decided to go back to school, so I am a student too. It is a lot to handle, but I love keeping myself occupied.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Travel is my true passion, so it is the main topic of my Instagram account. Like fashion, beauty and a healthy lifestyle are also part of my life they are seen on my Instagram too.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Well, there was no much work on my Instagram name as it is my name. Honestly, my Instagram account was meant to be personal, and suddenly it became popular. I don’t think the name of the Instagram account has much to do with its success. The content is definitely what matters the most.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

If you have checked my page lately, I am obsessed with cinemagraphs! (living images). And, to create those it takes a lot of work. I first edit the photos on my phone with VSCOcam, which is my favorite editing app ever! And then, transfer it to my computer where I use iMovie to create the moving images.
Often I edit the photos on photoshop (If using computer) or FaceTune (If using phone) before processing it with VSCO.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My ultimate favorite is Jessica Stein @tuulavintage I love the originality of her Instagram, the simplicity of her clothes, and the fact that she is very picky with which brands she works with and does not accept gifts. I feel she is one of a kind that does not care for the money and is doing is out of passion. Nicole Warne @garypeppergirl is another creative blogger and Instagrammer. I love her photos, the colors, themes, and her sense of style. Lastly, Jack Morris @doyoutravel is my Travel inspiration, I love his travel photos. They are very original, thoughtful, and they make me wonder “how the hell did he find these amazing spots!”

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Cinemagraph! The live photos as they receive more engagement and reach!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love taking photos, thus, for me the best part is being able to share the pictures and all the creative work behind it with thousands of people.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Brands should work together with the influencer to make the posts the most organic as possible. It also has to be real, makes the influencer try your product and like it first before posting anything, the post will come out more naturally!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

For me, quality and originality make or breaks an influencer. If you have it, you will succeed. People want to see the high quality and original photos that they are not capable of producing themselves.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

When a brand fits my lifestyle, I love partnering with them. Using their products which I think is an essential part and being able to share that experience online is a great power. The ability to bring awareness to a brand that I love is the best thing about partnering with it.
