Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Madeinus Salamanca @mvdeinus

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Madeinus, I am 18 years old. I recently graduated high school and plan to attend college later in the Winter. I am based in a small city called Stockton located in Central/ Northern California.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

On my Instagram I post a variety of photos. I’m mostly into Astro-photography and landscape until recently I gained interest in portraiture and lifestyle photos. By having variety I feel like my work can appeal and be relatable to a wider audience.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My name is Madeinus, I initially wanted that name when I first started Instagram but it was already taken by an inactive account so I changed the “a” in my name to a “v.” Aha

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t use any apps on my phone besides VSCOcam and the occasional Snapseed, but 100% of my photos on my Instagram are exported/ edited on Lightroom. I typically use software editing apps for less “special” photos.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

When I first started Instagram, I looked up to @potatounit, @ericluis, and @jaquory_lunsford, I’m sure there’s plenty more I can’t think of at the time but there are plenty. @potatounit was my biggest inspiration and actually is the most influential account I follow.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

To be different and to not be scared doing so.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part would be working with brands you like. It would not be fun being forced to work or collab with something/ someone you are not fond of.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

The amount of photos never equates or quantifies to the quality of the photos. Quality over quality.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Being creative and unique with your content work has got to be important because your work is what got you this far.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Being able to work together and creating some kind of bond/ link allowing for future opportunities.
