Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Lisa Kath Moen @lisakathdesign

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a designer who lives in Sandnes, Norway. I work as a freelance designer, and sell my art in my shop lisakathdesign.com.
I live with my husband, 2 daughters and 2 cats. I have always loved drawing, design and typography.
In 2001 I graduated with a bachelor degree from the University of Newcastle in Australia.
Me and my family lived in Edinburgh, Scotland a few years back, and that’s where I started to sell my posters.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love lettering, typography, illustration and design. I also like interior design.
I post mostly images of my home, and of my art.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My name is Lisa Kathrine Moen, and I thought the name Lisa Kath was a good artistic name, and I wanted to incude design, as that’s a huge part of my brand.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually only use instagram to edit photos. I often increase the brightness, and decrease saturation. Also, I sharpen the images.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really like @jasminedowling, as she’s a great letterer. I also like @kardemomme1 and @hstokka, as they are great to capture everyday moments. My true inspiration will always be @ylvaskarp.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Go follow your dreams!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

To inspire and try to create emotions when my followers see my art.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think it’s important to have some giveaways, but not to often.
Also to collaborate with professional or well known instagrammers.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Handmade! Always handmade, and to do it with passion.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like best to be inspired, and offcourse to see my designs together with their amazing brand.
