Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Leslie Rosner @leslierosner

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a nineteen year old fashion enthusiast who is busy creating my dream life whilst living in Ohio. After a brief study in fashion merchandising, I am working my way toward becoming a freelance fashion consultant and am sharing my passion through Champagne Bubble of a Blog. I am a guest blogger for Trend Clothes Co. and I am a social media representative for Seventeen Magazine.

When I’m not busy researching the latest trends, I enjoy spending my time reading, writing, knitting, and doing just about anything that involves being outdoors. Above all, I love spending time with my fiancé and son.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My posts are all about my life: my style, my beauty tips, my adventures, my family. I love to post style photos the very most.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

That’s an easy one, it’s just my first and last name! I think it’s important that you use your actual name instead of making up some random username because people want to know who YOU are and who is posting the content they love so much.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t do a whole bunch of photo-editing, but when I do I use Retouch and Snapseed. I use Retouch to remove dark circles from under my eyes and to remove acne and spots from my skin. After that I use Snapseed to brighten up the photo and neutralize the background colors so that all of the focus is on whatever I’m showcasing in that photo.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really love Marianna Hewitt, Jessi Malay, Janice Joostema, Olivia Pommier, and Tammy Hembrow. Jessi Malay is my biggest inspiration! Not only is she beautiful and stylish, but she’s an amazing singer. I aspire to be like her.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

My fellow Instagrammers need to try the Kerastase Hair Coach hairbrush! There are sensors in the brush that coordinate with a phone app to tell you how healthy your hair is and how much it is breaking. The best part is that it’s under $200!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part about being an influencer is connecting with people from all over the world. Thanks to Instagram, I have talked to people from places as far as Dubai. I love being able to share products with other people because the products I use are truly life changing.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

My top tip to brands for running campaigns would be this: I know that the more followers someone has, the more appealing they are for a campaign. However, it’s way more efficient to look at what kind of engagement people are getting on their photos. I have 5,100 followers and I get more likes than some influencers who have 21,000 followers.

I maintain authenticity by taking all of my own photos and making sure I’m really honest when I’m telling someone how I felt about a product.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality is key, it’s what makes your photo stand out in a sea of people that are probably trying to do the same thing that you are. The biggest misconception that people have is that you HAVE to have a fancy camera to take good quality photos. I take all of my photos with an iPhone 6s Plus and all of my photos are clear and bright because I take them next to a window for the best natural lighting.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love partnering with brands because you get to know the person you are collaborating with. When I share a new product or a collaboration, it always makes me happy to see my followers asking me questions or telling me what they thought when they tried it.
