Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Lena Neumann @milaiana

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Right now I’m in my last year of school and looking forward to finishing soon. I live in a very small city up in the northern country side of Germany and generally enjoy being out and about.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

There’s not really one topic I like the most. I’d like to think that my Instagram is a big mixture of what’s going on in my life right now and who I am. That can vary from nature, art to outfit posts or travel shots. Another thing that I really enjoy doing is posting beautiful and thoughtful captions. So basically if you follow me you always know what I’m up to.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I always wanted a name that’s an eye catcher but whenever I came up with something special I was already taken by someone else. So I decided to choose something that sound lovely, something Taft does not really make sense or has a deeper meaning.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

There’s not much of a routine behind it. I like to have my photos matching my feed so that why I usually choose the same filters from vsco and just adjust the lightning, contrast and saturation.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really do like @savantidaisy or @izo_bel because they always come up with something new and have a very unique feed, which seems to be very rare on Instagram these days.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I’m totally in love with the new feature on Instagram that’s almost like snapchat. I think I just nice to get a closer insight on the people’s life’s you’re following.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Being able to share my love for new products and help the companies increase their popularity as well as showing my followers lovely things.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Just doing the things you really like and if there’s a product you don’t like or don’t fully support then don’t do it.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Again doing the things you love. Learn to get to know who you are and what’s interesting or special about you, something that others don’t have. If you’ve got that then it’s mainly just about having a matchy feed and responding to comments to keep in touch with your followers.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Being able to be introduced to new brands or labels that I would not have found or known otherwise.
