Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Leanne Cole @leannecolephotography

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a Melbourne based photographer. I use many social media platforms, like Instagram, but I also write a blog on my website. At the moment I’ve been doing a lot of posts about being a middle aged woman and the stuggles we face. I’m also passionate about the environment.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I’m interested in the environment and Melbourne. So my posts on Instagram are my photos of Melbourne and the countryside around here.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It is my business name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Lightroom and Photoshop.
when I take photos I upload them to my computer with Lightroom. Then I use Photoshop to do majority of my editing. I love playing around with photos on the computer.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

How many do you want. I like a lot. I can’t think of any specific ones right now.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

To be original.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

That I can reach out to people.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

To make the brands match the accounts. I don’t like seeing people on IG showing products that have nothing to do with who they are. I’m a photographer and I’m passionate about Melbourne, and the environment, so I would want to be an influencer for those sorts of things.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

People love good content, things they can relate to. They like to see my photos on my page and see what I’ve been doing. They also like the way I process my photos which make them unique.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

It can be great to work with people who share similar ideals. I like to introduce new ideas and products to people who follow me, as long as they are relevant.
