Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Khushi @Khushi_jariwala

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a college student! I live in the UK, in a small town called Bolton which is neighbouring to the famous city of Manchester. I love fashion, modelling and engaging with people about life and their goals. I am quite aspirational and passionate about my ethnicity and culture. That being said I would like to promote that too, to my audience. To embrace your culture. I am Indian and I love to wear indian clothing and post about it on my Instagram! Not many people who live outside India embrace their culture to a great extent. However, I want to break those boundaries and make it okay to be who you are!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love fashion, travel and modelling. Fashion to me is something which lasts forever and as much as it changes people still love it. I post great outfit pictures, travel pictures and selfies.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Through my name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I like to use the Instagram app itself for editing as I think it’s a good app for if you want to keep your photos natural looking. I usually just play around brightness, saturation, sharpness and highlights. I sometimes also use the app Prequel. This is a great app for aesthetics. I usually use this mainly on my stories, but sometimes on my posts too!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really like Kaushal, Sam Chui, Vex King, Kareena Jethwa and many more. However these stick out to me the most because they showcase what they’re living for. They don’t always show their happy sides. They are all real. Kaushal and Kareena, show culture, beauty and fashion. Vex King is more of a life coach however, he inspired me to keep doing what I love, which is taking as many opportunities to inspire people the way he does and taking photos for my Instagram! Sam Chui travels a lot and I love travelling so much!

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

The best part about being an influencer is that I can be who i want to be. I can be free and post whatever I like. My audience are so friendly.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I love how StarNgage have helped a lot of people venture out and get really big! I haven’t had any campaigns because I haven’t had any information back whenever I do apply. I’d like feedback on how to improve! 🙂

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Don’t just tell the influencer to do something or be artificial towards the campaign. Let them be free and promote it however they want to! Let them have opinions 🙂

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Think outside the box. Don’t copy people. Be who you are and post whatever you want! I think quality is very important! People are attracted to a good photo rather than one which isn’t the best.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love how kind they all are! It brings a sense of accomplishment which makes me really happy.
