Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Keno Dacusin @iamkeno17

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am currently studying Electeonics and Communications Engineering. I am in my 5th (last) year in this program. i am from the beatiful country of the Philippines.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Well my interest revolves around traveling, photography, and food. I like to travel because i meet new people, hear their stories and learn from them as well. It’s the best thing in the world.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram name is from my name, obviously. I added “iam” and “17” at the last part because my birthday is January(1st month of the year) 7, that makes it 17.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

VSCO and Photoshop are the ones that help me complete my pictures. These apps/softwares enhances the quality of my photos whether it may be from my phone or from my camera. It add a story to my pictures by bringing out the best of it.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I think the most influencial instagrammer for me is David Guison. He is also from the Philippines. He is actually my idol and my inspiration. I want to follow his footsteps.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Well for me people should go travelling and explore other places. Meet new people, learn about their culture and hear their stories. The world we live in is full of masterpieces, arts, natural gems, and sights to see. They should start seeing places not only in pictures or in the sites they go through their mobile phones.Places are not meant to be google-d they are meant to be experienced.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

The part that i love most of being an influencer is that i get to share my ideas to the people or my audience. I speak what’s in my mind and i only speak for what i believe. Being an influencer is a good platform for me to share what i have in my mind and let people know it and learn from it. I like the way how i inspire others and affect their lives.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Just be true to what you say about the product and be honest with the people using it.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Originality is very important. Speak your mind and do what you think of. Your mind and ability is powerful than others.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

It best to partner with brands because you can support each other.
