1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
My blog, Tell Me Tuesday, is a busy girl’s guide to creating a beautiful life. My blog focusses on travel, recipes, DIY and lifestyle topics. Recently I quit my “9-5” job to travel the world for 6 months, having already visited Spain, Portugal, London, Paris & Vancouver. Net stop is Croatia!
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
Travel, recipes, cocktails and DIY.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
My role in my former “9-5” job was to help brands achieve more online. I would put all of my energy, love and passion into helping them build an authentic and successful online presence, and one day I decided that I wanted to put that passion into something of my own.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
When out-and-about I capture the photos on my iPhone 6, and use a combination of A Color Story and VSCO Cam to edit my images. I love the bright, white, fresh filters in A Color Story, especially Pop and Everyday and the curves tool is excellent. If I’m feeling playful I’ll also add a subtle color fog and light flare to the image too. For my professional snaps (like those of my recipes and DIY projects) I edit them in Photoshop.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
Ooooh, there are so many incredibly talented creatives out there! Design Love Fest (@designlovefest), A Pair and a Spare (apairandaspare), Rachel James (racheljames__), I Have This Thing With Pink (@ihavethisthingwithpink), Fish & Bull (@fishandbull), Winterwares (@winterwares), Rosie Clayton (@rclayton), Megan Roy (@roymeister)…. I could go on for HOURS!
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
Download the A Color Story app. It’s a game changer.
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
Connecting with the creative community, connecting wth brands and flexing my creativity muscle.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
Authenticity is always key. If you’re not speaking with your authentic voice, your audience will spot it a mile away.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
In this digital era, it’s easy to start behaving and communicating just like everyone else. What’s important is to bring to the table something that is genuinely YOU: no one else has the same story, skills, vision and perspective as you, so take that baby by the horns!
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
Collaborating with brands to bring a exciting new approach to their marketing strategy.
