Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Kapil Saraswat @The_kapilsaraswat

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’ve currently passed 12th class and looking for admission in college.I’m working towards becoming a young and appealing influencer.I’m from Mathura (U.P.)

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I have interest in so many things like food,lifestyle,fashion,technology and travel.But, I usually post reels on instagram and I’m trying to be a popular content creator.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I’m quite good at English. So, I understand the value of even little words in Grammar. That’s why, I know that “The” is used for something that can’t be replaced or copied. So, I chose my name as @the_kapilsaraswat because I want to be that spirit in this world that can never be replaced or compared with anyone.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually use Picsart to edit my photos. I usually upload at least two photos and 5-6 reels in a week. So, I have to edit at least one photo in three days and may be, I can do more also in three days.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I don’t follow anyone particularly because I know there is something good in everyone. So, I just try to catch that goodness from that person. But, if still someone ask me, I like Shirley Shetia a lot due to her extreme cuteness which is the best gift she got from the God.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favourite part about being an influencer is to lead the people. When people follow me, it means I’m leading them. So, it’s upto me where I’ll lead them. But, best part is that I can initiate things that people can’t generally do out of shame or the fear of society. Let’s take the example of a girl’s menstrual cycle. People are afraid to talk about it even though it is a part of their life. But, if I start a movement to make the people aware about the girl’s problem and making them comfortable, I hope I would surely make a little change in the society, because I’ll lead people and they’ll follow me.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I’ve joined StarNgage just now so I can’t tell too much about it. But, still I went through a lot of paid and barter campaigns and really liked them. I hope that I’ll experience the best from StarNgage and I’ll be lucky enough to stay with StarNgage forever.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I would just like to say that brands should focus more towards the quality of their products in comparison to the quantity of products. If brands make a quality product, they are known for a long time and their name and fame remain long lasting in the market.
As far as it is concerned about authenticity, I maintain it by giving the reviews for the product exactly as the product is. I don’t want my followers to get a product which does not have a good quality. I don’t give the fake reviews.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

As I have already told, I like the product to have a good quality irrespective of the price of the product. I don’t get involved in the collaborations or promotions of products which do not have a good quality. I always make the original content.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

While partnering with brands, I get an opportunity to lead the people in case of my choices and preference. I get delighted to see that people follow me for choosing the products and that works as a motivation for me to work harder.
Another benefit of partnering with brands is that my followers and brand’s followers get merged and thus, there is an increase in the audience of both.
