1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m currently working as an admin in the cosmetics industry and was born and raised in Selayang, Selangor.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My main passion is traveling and definitely sightseeing. At this moment, that is my main thing to post as I like to share where I’m going and what I’m doing now.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I used to think that if I’m a news anchor, what would be my name… so kamarulsulaiman is a combination of my first name and my late father’s name which I strongly believe is a very commercial name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Lightroom! Always lightroom! I love to play with presets a lot and I believe that with nice editing could bring a picture come to life.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

jessicachaw and cyrusy87. tbh, there’s not a lot of Malaysia’s travel influencer but both of them seem to inspire me to pressure myself to earn a lot of money so I can see the world like them.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I gotta say, influence people? I mean, when you go somewhere or eat something and people ask questions that related to that, it’s kinda cool that other people want to do things that you do as well.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

Well, I cannot say anything since I just join this site but there’s a lot of campaign that I would like to join that sadly it’s already ended. I look forward to more in the future as I believe there are a lot of exciting things to come.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Always look genuine when it comes to promoting a campaign. You need to feel the excitement about the brand that you are a part of it. You cannot just be fake and pretend you like it as people will know.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Just be yourself and let the client hires you for the real you. you can be inspired by other people but it is better to be the original you so people will have your name stuck in their brains for a long time.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

When you partner with brands, you kinda gain this feeling that you are trustworthy, you are someone that worth to show the world as an ambassador or role model. you will get tons of benefit that for sure will benefit you in the future,
