Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Kaisa Rusanen @kaisarusanen

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m freelance photographer from Finland/ mainly nature and outdoors. I’m originally graduated from University of Turku as a geologist but my blood was driven me in photography, first camera at the age of six. Now I’m using Nikon 1J2 dlsr camera.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Nature and outdoors: Sunset, piers, sky, macro anything that caught my eye, look at @kaisarusanen

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My first and last name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Emptying memorycard with laptop to external and to my phone Samsung Galaxy J5, editing with photoshop express and PicsArt and sometimes using IG filters.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Photoshop Express and Nikon cameras.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I can feature in my pictures products from reliable brands or advertising their website in my bio, marked in photos or Captures.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I would love to get brands products that fit in my IG feed and take shots of the products. Authenticity will be maintained so that there is not too much advertisement, so that the feed won’t look like advertisement but authentic me.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality comes always first, it starts by taking the shots and continues with high quality image processing and resulting as much as possible the original content. So that the feed maintains its originality.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Getting to promote reliable brands at my Ig account, so that it benefits both sides of the deal. F.ex. I could take shots of the brands products so that it doesn’t look like too much advertisement or promoting websites on my feed or bio.
