Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Julita @doing_the_distance

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi, I am originally from Poland, but based in Spain since been ten years. I travel a lot lately, so I became a digital nomad to have continuous income to travel more. Digital marketing and being Influencer became a part of my life. I love what I do and always willing to share it with other people.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

As I mentioned, I travel a lot. Mostly sharing pics from around the world, fashion, travel gadgets and food! (who doesn’t love food haha)

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Hmm, good question! After one year of solo travel I decided to open a blog and write some stories there. All travel related blogs would always have almost the same names. Including nomad/traveling/backpacking etc. I wanted something travel related but more original…from there, Doing The Distance was born.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

At the beginning I used many of different apps to edit pics, to try which would be the best. After years of taking pics you finally becoming pro and don’t need much editing. However for the moment I use only Instasize (for the type of pics I post-polaroid) photoshop fix app for iOS for small retouch and actual Instagram editing. That’s all mystery 😉

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I like many of Instagrammers. Lots of them have amazing pics starting from breathtaking nature, through travel, food and fashion to unbeatable pics of different cultures.
Some of my favs are: wanderlustravelco, passportblonde, ok.justgo, lesbinomadic and more.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Don’t spam other accounts with "likes" it’s not gonna attract more followers

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Share my passions with others

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Post less- three pics a day are enough. Tell Instagram Stories or go live on Instagram. Use Instagram ads

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Experiment with pics and videos, check other accounts relative to your brand or what you post, and try to be different.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Each brand is different, even though they are from the same industry. Working with many brands gives me more experience and it broadens my knowledge boundaries with the marketing and the market we are working on.
