Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Julia Jverie @juliajverie

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi! My name is Julia Jverie and I am a Women’s wear fashion designer and social media influencer. I currently design for a young contemporary line in Downtown, Los Angeles. Raised in between Orange County and Los Angeles in California, I’m a mix of both suburb and city girl. 😉

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest is anything I can get my hands on. I love sharing advice in fashion, beauty, and dining. My Instagram mostly consists of beauty products, restaurants, and #ootd (outfit of the day) pictures. It’s basically a lifestyle account.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram account name is my first name Julia and my nickname Jverie (which comes from one of my favorite words “reverie” noun. a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts; a daydream.)

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

My favorite two apps are “Afterlight” it has really great lighting and exposure! Also for filters I love using VSCO cam.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My idol is “hautepursuit” I think her stlye is so chic and I even tried to replicate her hair this year. She inspires me because she doesn’t seem like a sell out and has very minimalist and contemporary style.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I recently tried a pizza place in New York called “Prince St. Pizza”… It was HEAVENLY. I definitely recommend going there for the best piece of pie you’ll ever try.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part is being able to share my reviews and recommendations. Also style tips! I wish we had Instagram when I was younger, it would have saved me from so many “junior high” awkward situations. And also the free gifts are nice. Haha. (:

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think authenticity really means a lot and makes the difference between followers being able to trust their influencer. For me, even if a company sends me something for free, it does not mean I will lie and say how amazing their product is when I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends. I once received some lip gloss that BURNED, so I never posted anything about it and kindly let the brand know why.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

What makes you special, is YOU. There’s a million other people out there and no one is better than yourself! So love yourself and be yourself! <3

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like being able to try new things and working with brands to future their exposure and mine. It’s a win win situation for all of us!
