1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Joanna Joseph. I am a 22 year old university student who’s currently doing my Diploma in Tesl. I’m also a pageant girl, freelance model, and a motivational speaker when it comes to mental health and also weightloss. I currently reside in Klang, Malaysia.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post a lot about fashion, and beauty. Also inspiring campaigns when it comes to the environment, mental health and staying fit.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Well, my name is Joanna Joseph. And I couldn’t think of something better than Officialjoannaj haha. There are a lot of Joanna Joseph’s worldwide but I wanted to make mine official because I have a lot of people who make fake accounts of me and what not.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I normally use VSCO. It’s my favourite photo editing app. Sometimes photoshop.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My favourite instagrammer would be Arwind Kumar. He has been my best friend since I was 13 even before we reached success together. And I’ve watched him grow everyday over the years to a successful person. He also inspires me to be better.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favourite part of being an influencer would be motivating and inspiring people, educating the public on certain things which not many people touch on. And of course exploring a lot of new makeup brands, campaigns, trying new food and stuff

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I haven’t started my journey with StarNgage yet but I can’t wait to see what it has in store for me!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

It’s basically always doing something out of the box compared to what normal campaigns do. Something interesting which others don’t normally do.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Well, I’ve always believed that being yourself is the most authentic thing. And always staying true to what you preach about is important. So just be yourself when you are crafting your content!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

You gain a lot of exposure and also a lot of new items which you can use in your daily life.
