1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi! I’m Joanna, currently a fresh graduate from UCSD, now residing in LA. I work a 9-5 but love allowing my creative outlet to flow within instagram!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love photography and sharing lifestyle / beauty related photos.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My nick name has always been banana because it rhymes with my name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I just use the instagram photo editing tools – sometimes I’ll use the Beauty Magic app too.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Bubzbeauty!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Boomerang – to make cool gifs!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Being able to show individuals how to be healthy and happy through lifestyle habits is great! I think it’s important to be true to yourself and always give your best.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

It’s really important to spread the word – whether it’s through letting people have free trials of products or doing giveaways. Word of mouth spreads quick with social media; and if your brand has great products, word can spread fast!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

The quality love you give to your followers is the quality of devotion they give back as a follower.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Allowing to share things that I think are cool! I think it’s important to be true to yourself and partner with brands that you sincerely want to promote!
